Types of Sari in Indian Women Wardrobe


Saris, the most elegant and feminine piece of clothing in which every woman look gorgeous. This 5 to a 9-yard long piece of clothing can be worn for daily as well party wear. They come in variety and forms .Some of these are:

Cotton Sari:  these are most comfy in summers. Although, maintaining cotton sari can be a bit pricey. But it will be worth giving attention to this clothing .You can try contrasted color cotton blouse or Chinese collar blouse with a cotton sari to achieve a stunning look.

Silk Sari: Indian silk sari is well known for their vibrant colors and patterns. This kind of sari is suitable for bridal as they come in vibrant colors. There are different varieties of silk saris available for e.g. kanchipiram.kanjivaram, Benarsi and chanderi.

Printed Sari: Printed sari come in georgette and chiffon material. This type of sari is best suited for summers as they are lightweight. This sari comes in many prints for e.g. –floral, animal, Aztec and animal.

Sequined Sari: Sequined sari is the first choice of women when it comes to party wear. Pair them up with a light color blouse with thin material to balance out the heavy sequined work.
Lehenga Sari: As the name suggest, the lehenga and sari together have been converted into an elegant dress .The pleate which we have in a normal sari is not there, instead of that we have lehenga which continues as pallu.

Sari Gown: Sari gown is the latest trend. This lightweight and zipped down gown has made the life of brides so much easier to wear them at their various wedding ceremonies. This type of sari is a western approach to the traditional blouse and sari. Women can get custom made sari gown at their favorite boutique and stitching center.
