Body Wrap Spa Treatments

Body wraps are known for improving skin tone, texture, and clarity. This particular spa treatment increases circulation, pulls out toxins, and nourishes the skin with all the wonderful ingredients that are used in body wraps; i.e. mud, Seaweed wrap and herbal wrap. Various essential minerals are found in the Sea wrap, such as calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium, and boron which work wonders for the skin. This wrap can be enjoyed with a sun bath or a swim.

Algae and seaweed wraps promote metabolism boost and enhance skin health. This spa treatment involves full-body application of seaweed or algae in a foil wrap. Both of these elements are rich in vitamins and amino acids, which are absorbed through the skin. Algae and seaweed wraps help to rid the body of toxic elements and release toxins through sweat. A shower before the treatments is recommended, although the use of soap after the treatment is discouraged. It is better for the skin that the vitamins and minerals stuck on the skin remain there and are not scrubbed off.
Some use body wraps purely for the purpose of softening skin, hydrating treatments of shea butter and rich lotions are used.

Another common form of wrap is an Herbal Wrap. Herbal body wraps are designed to heal and detoxify using an herb and oil soaked cloth or linen. It is often used as a body slimming technique, where many spa practitioners claim that the treatment promotes the elimination of fat cells from the lymphatic system. It is said to have favorable impact on the skin, which gets smoother and tighter appearance following the treatment. One may get a routine designed specifically for them which would take care of their requirements comprising a body wrap, a scrub followed by a massage.
So try out the new, fun, slightly messy way of relaxation.
