Body Scrub: Making skin smooth and polished

As summers are approaching you tend to show more skin and everybody want their skin to look beautiful, smooth and polished, but achieving that can be a tedious task. In such case a body scrub can prove as a life savior

A body scrub is a skin care product whose primary function is to remove dead skin cells through exfoliation as well as cleanse the skin, increase the body's blood circulation and providing hydration to the skin. A body scrub is also known as body exfoliate, body gloss or body polish. The exfoliating component needs to be abrasive like sugar, salt, rice bran, coffee, sugar, salt, rice bran, coffee grounds .mixed with some kind of massage oil and essential oils. Depending upon the main ingredie  nt of the scrub the name of the scrub is defined. If the scrub uses salt, it might be called a salt scrub, salt glow or sea salt scrub. The exfoliation is usually followed by a shower and an application of body lotion.

The cells on your body regularly shed to expose new, healthier skin underneath. That turnover process slows as we get older; to give it a push, we should use reach a body scrub. As you massage it over your body, the exfoliating granules shed off dead skin, and the rubbing motion itself encourages circulation and helps drain your lymph nodes, by increasing blood flow to the skin’s surface. Also, One of the important benefits of using a scrub is how relaxing it can feel.—an experience that can lift your mood and affect your outlook as you continue your day or evening.

If your skin is healthy, you can use a shower scrub up to three times a week. But In the case of sensitive skin, you should limit its use to once a week and be careful not to over scrub. Though your body skin is heartier than the skin on your face, it is susceptible to irritation. Always moisturize after you’ve dried off for smooth, nourished skin. If you have sunburn or other skin condition, you should avoid using a body scrub.   The abrasive Ingredients and rubbing could further irritate your skin.
